Recently one of our customer was experiencing destructive viruses, and even though the antivirus solution was in place it was not working, Why?

Simply put the customers were using home version of anti-virus product not the Corporate versions.  Corporate versions only the administrator can disable the Anti-virus software, Real-time Protection was enforced, Daily scans of the computer were conducted, Virus Updates were taken from 1 centralized server and were updated daily.
